Yayasan Putri Bali

THE TEAM

	Yayasan Putri Bali was founded by a small concerned group of five people. Amongst the group are the only two Plastic Surgeons on the Island of Bali and who run the Burns Unit.
Dr. A.A. GN. Asmarajaya
	Dr. Asmarajaya was educated in Bali and attended the Udayana University School of Medicine where he obtained his doctor’s degree. He then continued his education at the University of Airlangga in Surabaya where he studied general surgery and then the University of Indonesia in Jakarta where he studied plastic surgery. He is a very highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon and has attended extensive courses locally and abroad including Australia. He is currently Head of the Division of Plastic Surgery in Bali and also a member of the Burns Team which includes an Anaesthetist, Paediatrician, Internist, Microbiologist. Dr. Asmarajaya has been involved in a number of charity organizations and has performed numerous operations for charity such as cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Nyoman P. Riasa
	Dr. Riasa was educated in Bali and attended the Udayana University School of Medicine. He then went on to furthering his education in Jakarta where he was Resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Indonesia University School of Medicine – Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital, Jakarta. He also did a Post Graduate Fellowship Program, Program of Educational and Training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Showa University of Tokyo Japan. He commenced his career as Government Medical Doctor on public health services in remote areas of Sulawesi Tenggara where he worked for 3 years. He then worked as a Government doctor at the Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital in Jakarta and was Assistant/ trainee in plastic surgery at the Sub Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Indonesia University School of Medicine. He is a very highly skilled and experienced surgeon and has attended many training sessions and workshops locally and internationally. Dr. Riasa arrived back in Bali after the tragic bombing to assist those victims that had been severely injured by the bomb. He is currently employed as Co-ordinator of the new Burns Unit and also staff member of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division, Udayana University School of Medicine and the Sanglah Hospital. He is a very dedicated and devoted surgeon and has performed many operations for charity such as Cleft lip and palate. It is the concern of Dr. Riasa of the financially unable at the new Burns Unit that this Yayasan was formed.
Rena Suwitra
	Rena was born in Melbourne, Australia and has been living in Bali with her Balinese husband since 1987. Whilst living in Bali she has run her own successful business of designing and producing children’s clothing. Prior to living in Bali, Rena worked for 10 years in the health and social welfare field in Australia. This attributes to the many concerns she has within the community.
Anjarini Kencahyati
	Anjarini, a resident of Bali for 18 (eighteen) years, is the Director of PT. Sabita Multi Niaga, a specialist in business and management consulting. In addition to managing PT. Sabita Multi Niaga, Anjar is active in Dyatmika School Board and is currently a student of Magister Business Law, University of Gajah Mada Jogja.
Nattalia Sinclaire
	Nattalia originally from Ireland, has been residing in Bali since 1988. She is an Indonesian citizen, and is married to a Balinese man who is widely involved in the tourist industry in Bali, and she very much considers Bali as her home. She has been involved in the area of Montessori education around the world for most of her life, and in recent years she brought Montessori to Bali and founded the Montessori school “Taman Kanak Kanak Montessori Bali”.
